In the video of the FUN FEMINISM exhibition at the Kunstmuseum in Basel 23-9-2022/ 19-3-2023, Gili can be seen in a short clip.

Fun Feminism is an exhibition on the theme of female art, in parallel with the 59th Venice Biennale “The milk of dreams”.

A vision of art through the eyes of female artists who expressed themselves with irony, irreverence and amusement. A collection of multimedia works from the 60s to the 90s, which lead us to explore the issue of gender lightly, through different artistic languages. Including pictorial works, video installations, tapestries, photographic works, sculptural objects, denunciation graphics from the 70s on display. The exhibition aims to investigate the perspectives of feminism from the 50s to today.

Anna Gili has presented Dolly, a sculptural piece which is dedicated to and in honour of the first ever known cloned animal in the world. This brightly coloured 3D portrait of a cloned sheep is fun and pop whilst the message is much darker and makes us question the ethics behind and beyond this subject.
