Mostra postuma a cura di Alessandro Mendini<\/h2>\n

Twenty-five years after the\u00a0opening of the Groninger\u00a0Museum building he designed,\u00a0Alessandro Mendini (1931-\u00a02019) was given free rein to\u00a0put together his dream\u00a0exhibition. Shortly before his\u00a0death earlier this year, the\u00a0grand old man of Italian design\u00a0selected dozens of his own\u00a0revolutionary designs as well\u00a0as works by numerous other\u00a0artists and designers. Mendini\u00a0passionately believed in\u00a0collaboration between creative\u00a0spirits and the importance of\u00a0imagination \u201cMondo\u00a0Mendini\u201d is a colourful,\u00a0dazzling riot of fine art, design\u00a0and architecture.<\/p>\n

Some important art works by the Italian designer Anna Gili will be present at the Mondo Mendini exhibition<\/em> at Groninger Museum:<\/p>\n
